The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Alicante has presented Grupo Inden with the Industry Award in recognition of its long history in the plastic packaging manufacturing sector.
Grupo Inden went to collect the award on 13 June at the Alicante Economy Night, an event attended by nearly half a thousand personalities from the social, political and business spheres of the province of Alicante.
The person in charge of collecting the award was Bernardo Guillem, founder of the company, who stressed that “this award is recognition of the work and effort of all those who make up the company” and added that “the company will continue to focus on innovation and technology in order to develop internationally”.
Grupo Inden was founded in 1989 and is currently subdivided into two brands: Inden Pharma, dedicated to the manufacture of pharmaceutical packaging, and Plásticos Inden, focused on the production of packaging for candles, food and cosmetics.
Quality and innovation have marked the company’s policy since its beginnings. Thanks to this, the company has three plants in Ibi, which manufacture around 200 million containers annually. It also employs more than 90 people and is currently immersed in a process of international expansion.
